after the frescos in Cardinal Bernardo Dovizi da Bibbiena's private bathroom.
In 1516 Bibbiena (1470-1520) commissioned Raffaelo da Urbino (1483-1520) to create wall frescos for his private bathroom. And Raffael (Raphael) painted 12 such outstanding meads, of which we have two to offer here.

These two stunningly and exceptionally beautiful engravings belong to an extremely rare series: "Ora di Giorno - Ora di Notte" in which there are 12 different engravings altogether.
