This historical map of Germany shows Germany and her adjacent countries. Place names, names of rivers, mountains, geographical and political areas as well as tribal names are in Latin language. They derive partially from Latinized Celtic origin or were given by the Romans during their long imperial rule. Map reaches from the Baltic Sea to the Adriatic Sea and from the Netherlands to Vistula river and Romania.
The Silesian Jacob Monau was one of those outstandingly well educated humanists, who taught in several European universities.
