General view of this very old German city with a a long tradition. During Roman times its name was Augusta Treverorum. Because of still existing some of the old Roman architecture Trier was honored to be a part of UNESCO world heritage.
Magnificent half bird's eye view on the noble city, with the Roman Bridge, the oldest bridge in Germany, crossing river Mosel (Moselle) in the lower right corner of the print.
Print may have come loose from the book in past centuries and rebound with stronger and darker toned paper. Lower margin has repair with the same sort of paper. Light general age toning.One foxing spot in the center of print, mirrored on the opposite pale.
Reverse side has Title in brief description in the German language in front and article about Trier (incomplete).
