Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (1483-1520) was commissioned by Pope Leo X to paint the Apostolic Palace (the official Residence of the Pope). His fascinating work adorns 4 large rooms, the Stanze del Vaticano: Sala di Constantino, Stanza di Eliodoro, Stanza della Segnatura and Stanza dell'Incendio di Borgo.

Image in very good condition. Upper margin with heavy crease, one edge only barely touching image however. Margins with other minor traces of age and use.
