Antique print, reptiles, "Vipera Ferro Di Lancia - Vipera lanceolata" Here is a rare and beautiful lithograph from the "Atlante Zoologico Popolare" published in Naples (1863) by Giovanni Boschi. The lithograph was made by Raimondo Petraroja. This work comprised eight volumes of most known animals, even some that are now extinct. The books were published from 1863-1879. In the lower margin is the lithographers blind stamp. The original hand coloring is superb.
