Sexta etas mundi. - "Tamerlanes" better known as Timur ibn Taraghai Barlas (1336-1405).
Also as Taimur or Tamerlane.
Timur was a Turco-Mongol Conqueror of Islamic creed, the founder of the Timurdian Empire in Persia.
Never having lost a battle he was called invincible. But he was also an intellectual who left his footmarks in art and in architecture.
Portrait: Paulus Venetus. (Paul of Venice - Paul von Venedig 1369-1429)
Catholic philosopher, theologian, logician. Member of the Order of St. Augustine.
