"Carte du Paradis Terrestre adaptée aux deux systèmes de D. Calmet et de Huet"
The Paradise on Earth or Earthly Paradise has been located in many places on our planet. Several cultures have produced legends around this subject matter. The word paradise is Persian in origin and was allocated to their famous fruit gardens and their parks.
The ancient Jews, when they speak of Paradise, meant the "Garden of Eden" (Septuagint Bible). That was the location, uncertain where it actually is, was where Adam and Eve lived, sinned and where expelled from.
This map, copper etching by Barriere brothers in Paris and dated 1820, shows EDEN in Armenia, south of the Black Sea and west of the Caspian Sea.
