Original antique print

Description of image: A Jesuit priest takes the oath of two Spaniards, while four other Spaniards are watching the scene. Driven by armed Spanish soldiers a number of native slaves carry encumbrances up a ragged steep mountain to the summit, on top of which the Christian cross is raised. On the opposite side of the title cartouche soldiers and natives are descending.

Trimmed to borderline of print. All four margins have been added at an indeterminable later time. There are some minor paper faults upper right and upper left - with no loss to image.
