This print is one of the famous series of door to door sales women and men
"Cries of London" meaning that they yelled the sales product, so that the housewife would notice that the vendors of milk, bread, flowers, vegetables, the scissors grinder, etc was out on the street.
Print is trimmed. Narrow margin. Some minor traces of age and use.

Wheatley born at Wild Court, Covent Garden, London, studied at William Shipley's drawing school. He assisted in the decoration of Vauxhall, and aided John Hamilton Mortimer in painting a ceiling for Lord Melbourne at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire.
