Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (1483-1520) was commissioned by Pope Leo X to paint the Apostolic Palace (the official Residence of the Pope). His fascinating work adorns 4 large rooms, the Stanze del Vaticano: Sala di Constantino, Stanza di Eliodoro, Stanza della Segnatura and Stanza dell'Incendio di Borgo

Image in very good condition. Wide margins show some traces of age and use.. There is, in the lower margin, a faint water stain, not reaching to image, however. A black spot upper left inside plate mark, but not touching image.
