The German name Wiflisburg is totally out of use in our time. The town is called Avenches in the Swiss Kanton Waadt (Vaud)

The map shows the south-west area of Switzerland. Basically the area between Bieler See - Neuburgersee (Lac de Neuchatel) - Murtensee - Thuner See and Lake Geneva (Genfer See - Lac Leman).

General age toning. Along north side of Thuner See oxidation on reverse side of the green color has broken the paper (along lake).
