Maybe the loveliest view of the southern shores of the Gulf of Naples. In the foreground the city of Pozzuoli. We are looking across Pozzuoli-Bay towards the peninsula of Baia. Behind the peninsula we discover the islands of Procida and Ischia.

An exceptionally shaped view of the Bay of Pozzuoli, beautifully adorned with flowers and fruit garlands. To the
left and right at the bottom is explanatory text (in Latin) of the topography of this artistically interesting print. In the middle,
between a rich harvest of southern fruit, is a homage by Hoefnagel to his friend Abraham Ortelius. A lovely landscape,
