"Ora Baiana et Puteolana callidi fontibus portibus et delieiis Romanorum celeberrima ex delineatione"
Historic and very detailed map of the Gulf of Pozzuoli and of the Gulf of Baia. It includes even Cuma. Map shows all important sites along the shown coast line, which was, in Roman times, a very important area with warm springs and classical villas of wealthy citizens. Plinius the younger observed from Pozzuoli the eruption of Vesuvius in the year 79, which devastated Herculaneum and Pompei. Title cartouche is ordained with depicted Roman coins and medals.
