The print was dedicated to Bartolom(m)eo Amigoni, who was head of the Royal Academy of Arts in Torino.By definition of dedication Amigoni was a patronizer of Testolini.

This large folio view, a bird's eye view into the interior of the arena, was published in Paris, ca. 1770 The print has three vertical and three horizontal folds to fit the octavo size of the book in which it was published. The print has light general age toning and, in one folding corner, a very small hole, backed up with 18th century paper.
